The GReddy valve replacement is based on our Properfekt Type 1 blow-off valve. The product is a professional, dual-piston, atmospheric valve.
Standard flange / mounting base length: 80 mm, bolt spacing: 66 mm.
Thanks to the use of two optimally selected springs, the valve is maintenance-free. It performs excellently in so-called soft turbo setups as well as at high boost levels.
The blow-off valve set includes two springs – a soft and a hard one. The soft spring is preinstalled in the valve. The second spring, supplied separately for self-installation, is intended for boost pressures higher than stock.
The valve body is made of polished PA06 aluminum with a diameter of 60 mm. The control piston has a diameter of 40 mm, while the second sealing piston is made of Teflon. This design ensures high tightness and reliable operation of the entire valve.
Note: Installation by a specialized company is recommended. This blow-off valve is intended for track and motorsport vehicles. A blow-off valve installed in place of a DV valve may cause a check engine error. If this occurs, an ECU remap is required to adapt the system to the change from a recirculation valve to a blow-off valve (permanently disabling the errors).
