The kit allows a swap of the S62B50 engine into BMW E46 and Z4. 100% bolt-on product – no welding is required. All steering components stay in the stock position.
It’s the only kit on the market that uses the original S62 oil pump. Unlike the M60/M62 oil pump, the stock one has 3 rotors that supply the oil under correct pressure. It is the only solution that provides trouble-free, long-term use of the engine.
In a pan, there is a place for solenoid valves. What’s more, the pump is supplied with oil from a return from the engine block and from the rear of the pan. All to make sure that your engine gets the right amount of oil all the time.
The kit includes an oil sump, pump relocation kit installed to the pump, engine mounts, polyurethane engine bushings, a subframe with welded mount fasteners, front pulley, and a set of bolts and gaskets.
What does “pump relocation” mean? All we’re doing to the pump is an install of a new shaft. All components that are responsible for pumping the oil stay stock.
With this set, you can adjust the front-rear position of the engine in the engine bay.
The swap requires fabrication ar modification of stock manifolds. You have to use a steering column with a smaller diameter – available in the options of this kit.
The kit was designed for track use. Due to the height of the engine modification of hood reinforcement is required. If you’d like to leave it stock please buy a subframe lowering kit that solves this problem.
