Adaptation kit for mounting K04-64 turbine from 2.0TFSI to 1.8 20VT engines
Fits to all 1.8 turbo heads of VAG cars.
Set contains:
– Upper mounting cubes – 4 pcs.
– Bottom mounting strip – 1 pc.
– Upper and middle fastening bridge – 1 item
– 10 mm exhaust flange (downpipe) made of resistant stainless steel – 1 piece
– Crankcase cap made of stainless steel – 1 piece
– Exhaust flange gasket, downpipe – 1 piece
– Exhaust manifold gasket – 1 pc – requires minor adaptation
– Actuator (pear) relocator from wastegate – 1 item
– Actuator pusher extension – 1 pc.
Installation of this set requires unscrewing two unnecessary pins from the head (marked on the photo) and cutting out several new shafts in the exhaust manifold under the pins (a template that facilitates performing operations in the set).
Finally, drill new holes in the exhaust manifold gasket
The set contains all the necessary accessories for installation – of course, the price does not include the modified exhaust manifold with the turbine visible in the photo and the head
The set doesn’t have road approval, which means that it cannot be used on public roads. Only for use in motorsports indoors.
